It’s not hard to tell that my camera loves Penelope and Joseph. Even before we wrapped up our shoot Penelope looked to me and said “We have to figure out how we’re going to do this again”. I agree Penelope, I totally agree!

Back in May I received an email from Penelope inquiring about photographing their elopement wedding scheduled to happen in mid-August. Anyeka checked the date and immediately noticed that I would be traveling to shoot a wedding abroad and I was unavailable. Long story short over a few conversations with P&J they booked us for their engagement session. It wasn’t hard to tell that they were a special couple.

Penelope & Joseph are an uptown couple but I had to bring them to Brooklyn to give them a bit of downtown swag. From the start of our shoot it felt more like I were hanging out with friends than actually shooting clients. That is the best feeling for a photography.

I had a great time shooting with them. I was a little nervous because my Anyeka couldn’t accompany me. She was feeling the adverse affects of her first trimester of pregnancy. Notwithstanding, I made it through and I brought our friend Lesean of LJR Films along to get some behind the scenes of the shoot. Below, is some footage that Lesean put together from the shoot! He’s a talented cinematographer.
