Martha and Kevin first crossed path while they were both attending a party. Kevin thought it was a housewarming, however, unbeknownst to him it was actually a church related singles gathering. After that first chance meeting they dated for a while but the timing wasn’t quite right. Even being separate they never forgot about each other. Fast forward a few of short years later they both felt like the time was finally right.
We’re happy to have documented Martha & Kevin’s wedding. We had such a great time with them and their families. The Yale Club NYC felt like the perfect venue for their New York City wedding. Just a few steps away from Grand Central Terminal. The couple opted to take photos at the terminal and the New York Public library. The reception was probably my favorite part. Being Ghanaian, Martha transitioned into traditional Ghanaian garb. While her friends and family “sprayed” both Martha & Kevin with money.
This wedding was beautifully planned and coordinated by Whitney Events NY. Photography by Joshua & Anye with additional coverage by Matthew Ellis.
So refreshing. Love every image guys.
