They met in college at SUNY New Paltz in upstate New York. From the beginning they were blatant opposites. She was the early bird who came to class well prepared and eager to learn. He was the typical inner city guy who walked into class listening to his iPod. But despite their differences, they became the best of friends. After 2 years of constant rejections, Andrea finally gave Francis a chance and she yes to his big question, “Will you be my girlfriend?”
Fast forwarding to the present day, it seems like Francis asked me to do their wedding photography such a long time ago, but it was only last summer. What more can I say about this couple? They are a perfect fit, they aren’t the same people and that’s what makes them POP! It’s a beautiful thing when 2 people can complement each other the way they do.
Their wedding was a blast, their first dance was actually 5 different songs, ranging from American Pop to cultural Ghanian music. They definitely got DOWN!
Your work is absolutely inspiring. I love how you not only captured their love for each other but you captured memories that will last for a lifetime.
OMG…. It’s about time I get on the infamous BLOG! Seriously, the pics that you took of our wedding day are truly truly breath taking!!!!! I am way more than satisfied and I couldn’t even dream of anything better. You have serious skills Joshua, which is evident in each and every one of the pics that you took. I only pray that you continue to use the talent that God gave you and go very very far. Continue to progress… you have come a long way since we met you. The couple, venue and shots are beautiful.
It was at THIS wedding where my fiance and I met Josh and we instantly clicked! I looked over his work as the slide show played during the reception. I was impressed to say the least. And so, after taking our engagement shots with Joshua– he will be shooting our wedding on 07.04.10! We couldn’t be more thrilled! SO looking forward to the day and to Josh bringing his A game like he usually does!!
